I started photographing actors in 2011, while I was studying theatre at Point Park University. I went through the same auditions, the same callbacks, and a lot of the same no's — so I understand firsthand how much a headshot matters.

Over the past fifteen years I've photographed thousands of actors and artists, with work across entertainment and editorial. I keep coming back to this.

An honest picture. A session that feels like a collaboration rather than an appointment. Students who remember the day, not just the file.

We arrive, build the studio, and take it from there.

A typical day runs through 1 PM, breaks for lunch, then continues until around 6 PM, accommodating roughly 10 to 18 students depending on the program.
Each student gets their own 30-minute session.
We start by talking through wardrobe, goals, and what they need from the headshot, then photograph two looks across up to four backgrounds.
Proof galleries are delivered within one week.

Theatre, musical theatre and acting programs
30-minute sessions, two looks, two retouched images.
Up to 8 students — $3,250 (half day)
Up to 12 students — $4,500
Up to 16 students — $6,000
Dance and performance programs
10-minute sessions, one look, one retouched image.
Up to 20 dancers — $4,000 (half day)
Up to 40 dancers — $7,000
Larger programs — two-day rates available.
Travel
Rates above are for Los Angeles and Southern California. Anywhere else: full days only, at the same rates, plus a flat $2,500. Nothing else gets added.

Two ways programs fund it :
Department-funded — one invoice for the day. W-9 and certificate of insurance provided, net 30.
Student-funded — you provide the date and the room, students book and pay individually through a private link. Twelve-student minimum, or twenty for dance.
50% holds the date. Balance due on delivery.
All I need from you is a date and a room. I send the scheduling link, arrive with the studio, and take it from there.
Of course. Faculty are welcome to participate and count toward the total,. Each session is private, one-on-one, and tailored to the comfort and preferences of every person being photographed.
