info:

  • When you arrive we will chat about the direction you want to focus on and go through your outfit selections.

We’ll start with a few test shots to see how lighting appears… and then start shooting.

Once your session ends, you will receive a dropbox link in 10-14 days from the shoot.

That link will usually have 75+ unretouched frames. Depending on how much we shoot.

After you made your selections… You’ll send em’ over and we’ll get to retouching them.

I spend about an hour per image, for turnover times, you’ll typically receive the images in about 10-14 days.

  • On the east coast, I work in a few studios in Pittsburgh and Cleveland.

On the west coast, my home studio is based in Hollywood.

  • Oh we have lots!

Clothing is essential. It tells the story or shares your personality. Be specific or be bold with your choices.

    Layering is your friend.

    Find contrast in your branding.

What kind of characters can you play? What types of stories you can tell?

As we shoot, I recommend relaxing and adjusting as each frame is being taken.

Small movements and adjustments really help break up your frames. Consider it like grooving in front of your mirror.

Think of a story, an intention or action for each character you want to showcase. And let the movement flow.

If you have an agent, check in with them.

I repeat, if you have an agent, check in with them.

Steam or iron your clothes the night or morning before.

Make sure you arrive with hair camera ready.

Exfoliate, Moisturize and Hydrate the night and morning prior… It can really improve your skin’s quality and appearance on camera.

And if you have any breakouts… no worries! My photoshop skills are pretty good.

If you purchased an MUA service… arrive fresh faced. Our artist will take care of the rest.

  • Honestly, anything and everything you feel confident in. 4-5 outfits with contrasting personality and character.

    Color is your friend!

    Strong solids are always recommended.

Jewel tones, black, white, ect. Feel free to bring a range of different options for clothing.

#1 rule is that you have to love it! If you don’t feel comfortable in it, it’ll show in the images.

Bring a range of different colors and necklines. If you have any doubt about whether something will work or not just bring it along.

No need to be seasonal; everything from t-shirts, tank tops to sweaters and light jackets can work, any time of the year.

Consider textures and layers as well and try to keep it minimal on the jewelry.

Have some fun with this, if you feel your wardrobe is missing something then go shopping and we’ll keep the tags on it in case you’d like to return the items after the shoot.

There's also a steamer in the studio, so we'll be able to easily sort out any wrinkling for you.

  • Yes…. and well no. My personal work can be found here.

    And currently available for commission.

However if you are booking a headshot session, that is what we’ll be focusing on. Mid body can certainly be provided and any images that are full body can be potentially provided due to how much time is available.

Dance or Fashion shots are available upon request via email.

Our goal is to provide you with the best headshots you’ll ever get. The process, lighting, equipment and set up are purely dedicated and developed for headshots only. We focus on quality vs quantity.

If you are looking for images that expand beyond a headshot, shoot us an email and we can provide a quote!

  • You can view the process here! Tying in my 10 years of photoshop and retouching experience, the goal is to maintain the true integrity of the subject. I keep it extremely natural. My checklist usually involves removing blemishes, blending in skin tones, and amping up the color and volume of the image.

  • The proofs are sent in one to two weeks. After your choices are made, the images retouched in 10 to 14 days.

For quick a turnover (72 hours), the fee is $100 extra by request.

  • Dropbox

  • Tricky question. I think a headshot should accurately reflect you in an audition. So if you plan on wearing glasses all the time, I think it would be smart to have a majority of shots including them. But options are important. Make the most out of your shoot.

Glasses can also be a character choice. If so, make a bold choice. Fingers crossed that your glasses are anti-glare, if not, I can work with it. But it might take more time to light you properly due to the reflection. If you own them, bring contact lens as well and we can get a few frames with them.

  • If possible, anything without a lens.

Most glasses have a glare that’s pretty easy to avoid, so no worries! Depending on the lighting and angle of your face, a glare can be avoided.

Do note, blue light glasses always need color correction while retouching…. so yes, we can still shoot with them but they might need a little bit of love in retouching.

  • Depends on your package! On most occasions, I provide 75+ watermarked frames for your selections.

From there, you’ll narrow down your selections and send them my way to be processed & retouched.

  • Of course! If you want to order more images beyond what the package offers, it’s just $50 per image.

And if you want any original with the watermark removed, it’s just $25 per image.

  • To maintain our quality, we only provide retouched images for use.

  • If you’re based in Pittsburgh, I highly recommend Docherty Talent Agency. They’ve been around for decades and personally craft each of their talent for success.
